Third-person perspective games have really grown in number on Android platforms in the past few years. However, first-person shooting games are perfectly relevant and popular. They are centred on a weapon which allows players to experience the game through the eyes of the protagonist.

Based on the gameplay, popularity of the game amongst the audience, and ratings, we have compiled a list of the top five first-person shooting (FPS) games that are a must-play:

Modern Combat 5

All frequent players of FPS games around the world have either played or heard of the Modern Combat 5 game. The tremendously popular Gameloft is the developer of this game. The franchise launched its first game back in 2009. And since then, the makers have carried out a lot of improvisation in the game.

One of the most famous games of this franchise is the 5th edition, i.e. Modern Combat Blackout. The background story of the game goes around a special force that was created to eradicate terrorists. This game also allows the multiplayer feature online. Also, you would notice that the franchise has paid special attention to the incredible graphics of this game.

The only negative of the game is that often players are facing problems because of the control layout. But from a broader perspective, Modern Combat 5 is surely an FPS player’s dream game!

World War Heroes: WW2

The only World War that is popular in this century is the FPS game World War Heroes. This action-packed online game was released in August 2017 and comes with a multiplayer option. World War Heroes draws inspiration from the World War, and its theme is based around it. In order to achieve success in this game, the player must pass through all levels.

The visuals and graphics of the game are commendable! Needless to say, that the game developers could have easily done a better job at the game’s sound. As a whole, the game is a good source of enjoyment for Android gamers.

Critical Ops

Critical Ops was developed by Critical Force, and the gameplay is centred on deathmatches. This game consists of five different modes. The first team who wipes the other team for the 10th time wins the game and the ranks of the players decide the matchmaking. However, this game lacks details in the area of the visual, but the user's gaming experience makes up for it.

Shadowgun Legends

Shadowgun Legends is one of the most widely acclaimed and popular science fiction based games made for the Android gaming platform. This game has left no tables unturned to provide its users with a memorable gaming experience. Madfinger is the developer of the game.

The game has both the modes, i.e. either you can play a 4v4 battle, or you can grind the game using the story campaign. The in-game sounds, visuals, storyline you name it and Shadowgun Legends will have the best form of it.

Area F2

Area F2 was developed by Qookka Games and is similar in concept to Counter-Strike. This game has 20 agents categorised under attackers and defenders. The player can select one of the roles and team up as a five men squad. And of course, the first squad to win three rounds is classified as winners.

One of the genuinely mesmerising features of this game is the usage of drone effects to know the position of the opponents. It makes it unique and engaging. However, this game also needs an improvement in terms of the visuals.

P.S: These games do not require high-end software or devices. They are accessible to everyone having Android devices.
