It does not matter whether it is for home, work, or something else; iCloud calendars provide massive convenience.

Sharing and creating iCloud calendars have been attempted by every iPhone user. As it is very beneficial, every iPhone owner should know how to process it. For Apple, newcomers may find it a bit tricky if they are not given proper instructions. However, your confusion will be cleared in this blog.

Having an iPhone can improve in becoming experienced in the Apple ecosystem. And with everything that Apple has provided, iCloud emerges as the biggest draw. For many of you wondering about iCloud, it is a service that includes apps like Contacts, Mail, Notes, Reminders, and Photos in sync across all Apple devices. Apple provides 5 GB of free space for all users as the starting feature. And also offers paid services that increase the free space amount up to 200 GB, 50 GB, and sometimes 2 TB. In addition, new features are coming as part of iCloud+. Apple is also providing a more secure web browsing service for subscribers. This new web security feature will allow users to hide their email addresses as well as improvements of HomeKit security cameras.

With all these benefits, iCloud is a backend, which increases the power of the Calendars app. As we all know, the Calendar app is available as the default service across all Apple devices. It uses iCloud for syncing. It syncs the events across the devices and works smoothly with Siri. The best part is, users can carve their calendar for specific events. For instance, it can be used for home, school, office, special events, and so on. To perform this activity on iPhone, you will need to open the Calendar app and then click on the “Calendars” icon given at the bottom of the screen. Now click on the “Add Calendar” given on the bottom left, and then provide a name for the calendar. Also, you get to pick your favorite color for it. Once you have attempted all these steps, click on the “Done” icon to save the process.

How can you share iCloud Calendars on your iPhone?

When you have created a new iCloud calendar successfully, you will get a notification on your screen that you can use it now. However, you can only access it through the specific iCloud account and nothing else. In case someone wants to share the newly created calendar with another person like a family member, friend, or anyone, it can be done very easily. You have to open the calendar app and click on the “Calendar” icon given at the bottom of the screen. Now you have to find the calendar, which was created, and then click on the’ⓘ’shaped symbol given next to it. Then click on the “Add Person” and enter the name of that person you want to share it with. And at last click on “Add” given at the top of the screen.  It is also necessary to gain knowledge on how to edit someone’s access to the calendar which is shared with them. In order to do this, you need to open the “Calendars” app and click on the same icon “Calendar” given at the bottom. Now click on the ‘ⓘ’ button given next to the shared calendar. Under the given “Shared With” section, view the person it has been shared with to edit their access. Users are allowed to disable and enable the other person’s accessibility to editing the calendar. They stop sharing at all or can resend the invitation in case they have not joined the app yet.
