  • Download the QuickBooks Tool Hub of the most updated version (1.4.0.0).

  • In QuickBooks Tool Hub, go to the Installation Issues tab and click on Clean Install Tool.
  • Hit the OK button.
  • Next, you need to select the version of QuickBooks you are using and click on Continue.
  • When the following message appears on the screen, “Please install your copy of QuickBooks to the default location,” click OK on the message window.

Step 3) Get QuickBooks Desktop on the system

  • Download your version of QuickBooks Desktop from the official website of QuickBooks.

Note: Make sure to save the QB file somewhere on the system where you can easily locate it such as on the Desktop.

  • Open the downloaded QB file ( QuickBooks.exe) and follow the instructions that you see on the computer screen to install it.
  • Give your consent to the software license agreement and hit the Next button.
  • At last, fill in the required details such as product and license numbers to set up QuickBooks Desktop.
