No decentralized protocol offers the same protections as insured cash, and even pools built around stablecoins can experience depegs, liquidity imbalances, smart-contract failures, or falling rewards.

A conservative Convex Finance strategy does not eliminate risk. It limits avoidable complexity, avoids leverage, prioritizes understandable assets, and evaluates returns after fees, gas costs, token volatility, and possible losses in the underlying liquidity pool.

  • converting part of CRV and CVX into stable assets;
  • reinvesting a controlled portion into the original pool;
  • retaining a limited CVX allocation;
  • selling small or highly speculative incentive tokens;
