Bayern Munich's controversial Kim Min-jae has been named to the Bundesliga's Best 11 central defenders.
Global soccer media outlet Score90 named the Bundesliga's Best 11 after the 11th round on Friday (local time).
Kim Min-jae was named to the list of four defenders. Kim was placed in the back four alongside Jonathan Ta, Alex Grimaldo, and Jeremy Frimpong of Leverkusen, who are currently leading the Bundesliga.
Kim, who was named Serie A Defender of the Year last season after leading Napoli (Italy) to their first title in 33 years, joined Bayern Munich last summer and has quickly adapted to his new team.
After a slow start to the season due to his call-up for basic military training last summer, Kim has been able to establish himself as an integral part of the team.
With other central defenders such as Matthias De Ligt and Dayo Upamecano suffering from a series of injuries in recent weeks, he has not been able to rest and has been criticized for a few mistakes.
