Australian-listed boutique casino operator Donaco International said the company's chief financial officer, Jong Guang Yang, was leaving the company “after six years of service”.

The company appointed Gordon Law as its new CFO from Jan. 1, according to a filing with the Australian Stock Exchange on Monday. 파친코Law was until recently the CFO of China Ruifeng Renewable Energy Holdings Ltd., an investment holding company listed on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange.

Chung will remain in his role until the end of the transition period, Donaco said. The company did not disclose the length of the transition period.

Monday's filing quoted Donaco CEO Paul Arborkle as saying, “I would like to thank Ms. Jung for her six years of dedicated service at Donaco and wish him all the best in his career going forward.”

He added: “I also welcome Gordon Law into the [CFO] role and look forward to working with him.”

Mr. Arbuckle resigned as Donaco's CEO in early December after six months. His last day at Donaco is expected to be June 4, 2020.

Donaco's representative location, Star Vegas Resort and Club, is located in Poipet, Cambodia, near the border with Thailand. In Vietnam, the group operates the Aristo International Hotel and a companion casino that mainly serves players from nearby mainland China.

Trading in Donaco shares was suspended on Dec. 2 until “sufficient director appointments” required by the Australia Inc. Act, which requires at least two resident Australian directors. On Dec. 9, the company announced the appointment of two new directors, including a new chairman.

The new appointment comes after Donaco's annual general meeting on Nov. 29, which was designed to broadcast requests by some minority investors to remove the board. As a result, many board candidates proposed by management were voted down, and former chairman Stuart McGregor was removed from office.
