Landry's announced that dos Caminos, the original Mexican restaurant and one of the popular restaurants in New York City, is now open in Golden Nugget – Atlantic City. The restaurant currently has four locations throughout Manhattan, with one soon to open on Lexington Avenue. The Atlantic City location takes over from the former Grotto Italian Ristorante.
“Dos Caminos is a perfect addition to Golden Nugget Atlantic City, which serves high-end authentic Mexican food,” said Tom Paulman, vice president and general manager of Golden Nugget Atlantic City. “We look forward to bringing real and fresh ingredients from Dos Caminos, and we know it will be a favorite among our guests.”
Dos Caminos brings the vibrancy of Mexico City to guests who visit the Atlantic Ocean, including authentic cuisine, margaritas (No. 1 in New York City for the second year in a row), and popular dishes from southern parts of the border.
Bocaditos & Street Food appetizers include popular dishes such as queso sauce, black beans, Mexican cheese, avocado, pico de gallo, queso fresco, coriander, jalapeño, and crema, camarones alambre, pepper jack stuffed bacon wrapped shrimp, chipole BBQ glaze, cabbage slaw, pickled jalapeño, pastor mayo, and daily market ceviche. Customers can also order from a variety of tacos lists, including vegan cauliflower adobo, birria, carne asada, and more.
Ente includes traditional and house speciality options such as sizzling fahita, enchilada and quesadilla. The cocktail menu features award-winning margaritas, specialty tequila drinks, palomas and classic cocktails. The vibrant interior of the space resembles any other location, which features bold bright colors and sugar skulls and walls decorated with flags.
