We talked to Diablo 4 Director Joe Shely and general manager of the Diablo franchise Rod Fergusson about the current state of Diablo and what their plans would be Diablo 4. and what the game has been designed to achieve them.
This is a major moment for Diablo. It's been a while since the launch of Immortal and recently, you've showcased the first part from Diablo 4. Rod, as the overseer over the Diablo franchise, can you provide us a quick temperature assessment of the franchise? Where is it located and what do you believe it should be to be?
Rod Fergusson: I think there's never been a better time to be an Diablo player and Diablo player. We have Diablo still out there–it's been out for 10 years now however even the most recent season, Season 26. We diablo II resurrected items have 150 million hours of play.
