Ever get weary?

Ever get tired of doing the right thing, only to not get the result you wanted, or at least not in the time frame you expected to receive it?

Ever feel like giving up and throwing in the towel?

If you’ve answered yes to any of these, know that God has the remedy to how you’re feeling.

He tells us in Galatians 6:9 to not be weary in well doing, for in due season we shall reap if we don’t faint.  The concern is what’s due season for one person may not be due season for you.  We must remain mindful, as Christians and especially as single Christians, not to covet another person’s testimony or what someone else has but to continue to run the individual race and unique purpose God has for each and every one of us.

God is not a respecter of persons.

He’s not forgotten you nor is He purposely holding out on you because you’re not good enough, not worthy enough or because of something you’ve done in the past.

He’s not blessing others and not you because He loves them more than He loves you.

He loves us all just the same.

He simply wants you to continue to walk by faith and not sight and remain encouraged in Him.

God tells us in Matthew 11:28  Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.

So the first thing you must do if we’re ever feeling weary is come to Jesus.

Lay out all your burdens at His feet, which for you may be in your own private prayer closet or at the foot of your bed as you pour out to God in prayer.

Just like Hannah in 1 Samuel 1:15 poured out her soul to God as she desired a child, cry out to God regarding all your life concerns.

Release all your burdens on the Lord and give them to Him.  Tell Him, “I’m done with it.  I’m done with worrying.  I’m done with crying.  I’m done with trying to figure it out – take it, Lord!”

1 Peter 5:7 reminds you to cast your cares on the Lord for He cares for you.

He wants you to give Him your burdens and, more importantly, He wants you to leave them there.

But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint. Isaiah 40:31

The Lord will give strength unto his people; the Lord will bless his people with peace. Psalm 29:11
