The fans of Tobey Maguire created fan art of his version of Peter Parker for the new Spider-Man 3 movie.
The untitled Spider-Man: Far From Home sequel is directed by Jon Watts, written by Erik Sommers and Chris McKenna. It stars Tom Holland in the title role alongside Jacob Batalon, Zendaya, Jamie Foxx, Benedict Cumberbatch, and Marisa Tomei. The movie is under production and is scheduled to release on 17 December 2021 in the United States as a part of Phase Four of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. The plot details of the film are still under wraps, but the connections of Doctor Strange and Spider-Man in the Multiverse of Madness confirm that Peter Parker is going to enter into the Marvel multiverse.
Some previous actors are reportedly returning for the movie for an epic reunion. In recent days there have been many names speculated for the film. Actors like Jamie Foxx featured as Electro in The Amazing Spider-Man 2 might return in the upcoming project. Doctor Octopus from Sam Raimi’s trilogy, played by Alfred Molina, is also said to be a part of the sequel. Excitingly, the past Spider-Man’s Andrew Garfield and Tobey Maguire are allegedly coming back in various pre-production stages. At some point, Emma Stone as Gwen Stacey and Kirsten Dunst as Mary Jane Watson were also reportedly connected with the project.
The possibility of Maguire’s presence created much excitement among fans to witness their favorite Spider-Man again in the franchise. Recently, a digital artist, spdrmnkyxxiii, created an art piece depicting the adult version of Maguire’s Peter. The adult Peter is an even more mature, charming, and battle-scarred hero. The art is a continuing legacy of 2007’s Spider-Man.

The speculations of Maguire returning started with being featured as Peter Parker to playing Uncle Ben. However, there is no such announcement made by the team of the actor himself. Many fans are pretty sure that the actor will appear in the upcoming movie.
Spider-Man 3 will be an excellent opportunity to explain what happens to him after the final movie. Hopefully, Marvel will soon confirm if Maguire will appear or not.
