Many casinos have already taken steps to reduce their recruitment plans and have also laid off many employees. The Front of Macao Gaming (FMG), a local gaming union, is monitoring layoffs and recently said junket operator Jimei International Entertainment Group Ltd has already laid off 20 VIP gaming employees and plans to lay off other groups of employees before the end .슬롯

FMG says two laid-off casino workers contacted and asked them to intervene as they wanted to get their jobs back. There have been rumors that G-May International Entertainment Group has fired its employees for poor performance, but many of these workers have been on business trips shortly after, raising concerns about the validity of the claims.

FMG Chairman Lee Young-man said in a statement, “Fired workers can be divided into reasonable and unreasonably laid-off workers. In the case of workers fired by operators without justifiable reasons, they have actually been compensated by their bosses based on labor laws. Now we have to find out how we can complain to the Labor Administration, or if there's anything else we can do.”

FMG knows another staff will be laid off before the end of August, but it's not clear which departments will be targeted and how many will be laid off.

Kwok Chi Chung, Jimei's independent non-executive director, said the casino market in Macau is declining, forcing junket operators to cut costs by reducing staffing. Kwok said it's hard for organizations to lay off employees, but considering the low revenue, casino facilities really have no other choice. Kwok said he was unable to confirm whether Jimei would fire any more people in August and no formal decision has been made yet.
