When talking about SEO (Search Engine Optimization), a lot of attention is paid to backlinks. Most people spend a lot of time building high PR links to their buy PBN sites because they believe this is the key to attracting search engine interest. It is true that in my experience, using quality links on my sites has improved my rankings.
But high PR links aren't the answer to all your off-page SEO problems.
Especially after the "Penguin" update provided by Google. This algorithm looks for natural back linking, exclude pages (and websites) that show excessive optimization.
This is because Google is (officially) looking for quality websites that other webmasters find useful and want to link to. This does not mean that all sites linking to you have a high PR. Some are blogs owned by people like you and me, and yes, some are high PR sites including forums, article directories, Facebook, YouTube, Wikipedia, etc.
In other words, when determining your site's page rank, search engines consider not only the quality of the links pointing to your site, but also their variety.
As mentioned in the previous post, pinging your site,
Submitting your URL to a link directory, and submitting articles to an article directory will give you a lot of backlinks that search engines find valuable in ranking your site. Great, now that we know all this, how do we do it? In other words, is it better to submit links manually or use software that does it for you automatically?
In my experience, posting links is one of the most boring tasks. However, using software that automates the entire process can completely and hopelessly overwhelm your website if you don't know what you're doing.
So... that's basically what I do on my websites/blogs (including this one).
1) Every month I write an article about a keyword with a small (global) search and publish it on my blog. The article is automatically downloaded, sent to the RSS feed and bookmarking directories. You can do this by customizing your Word Press dashboard settings and adding a selection of free/paid plugins.
2) Without leaving the blog, I submitted my article to EzineArticles.com. 3) I write my articles in different formats. 4) I will submit this change to a selection of article directories and niche blogs. I have a service that does this for me and lets me choose how fast I submit my articles.
This is very important because I can teach a writer
to publish my content in a few days, which is exactly what you need to do. You don't want to be in search engine red.
I recommend using an article submission service that you can trust and avoid frequently breaking desktop apps and article folders that you don't submit to serve article submission platforms.
If you follow the steps above, you will get hundreds of backlinks, naturally distributed over time, some with high PR, some with low PR, some appearing as empty links, some with anchor texts. I think this is a strategy that anyone can implement to build a solid foundation for their business.
One last tip...starts with just one site.
Start with something you understand, something you think you can learn from. People know you are an expert in your field and want to buy your products when they believe you can help them solve problems and achieve their goals.
