Film adaptation means the transition of a written work from words to actions in the form of a movie or a TV series. Usually, novels, autobiographies, biographies, etc., are transferred into motion pictures. There is always a debate about whether film adaptations of books are better or whether the novels have no comparison.

However, we believe that both have their own set of advantages. Sometimes, the movies fail to encapsulate the real essence of the novels. While sometimes, the addition of engaging soundtracks to romantic scenes spices up the whole entertainment level. History has witnessed many film adaptations from different genres like horror story books, mystery romance thriller books, autobiographies, etc.

This blog will talk about some top movies that are best in books. Some of these movies went a step ahead compared to the books, while the books continued to dominate in some cases.

  1. Pride and Prejudice – The book, as well as the movie, were loved by the audience. The classic theme that was followed in the book by Jane Austen was maintained throughout the film.

   2.     Gone girl – Mystery romance thriller books or movies always intrigue the reader/spectator. Gone Girl belongs to the same genre. It revolves around a husband and a wife in which the wife goes missing, and the husband is suspected of having a hand in it.

  1. Starship Troopers – It is a dramatization of another novel dealing with Cold War tensions that plays everything for laughs. The book isn't for the faint hearts and has a lot to do with its attempt to convey. The novel Starship Troopers attempts to provide a subtle perspective on war and violence. It aims to boost American preparedness against the Soviets because the argument is that a functioning, good society must have the fortitude to do what is right, even if it involves murdering people.

Starship Troopers, directed by Paul Verhoeven, is the polar antithesis. It is anti-war at every turn, mocking jingoism and nationalism along the way and reducing bravery and courage to a joke.

  1. Who framed Roger Rabbit – The movie is one of the few adaptations in which the original work's creator welcomed its adjustments, and how could he not? The possibility to combine Looney Tunes and Disney characters was too good to pass up, yet alterations had to be made to make a film with such feelings. When these cartoon characters were added, Who Framed Roger Rabbit became a decidedly more imaginative, family-oriented adventure.

      2. Interview with the vampire is a 1994 movie based on Anne Rice’s novel. Tom Cruise and Brad Pitt were seen in the film. Vampire romance ebooks or vampire thriller books are page-turners for fiction lovers. Though Interview with the vampire was not a vampire romance ebook, it intrigued and fascinated the readers in the same way as did the movie.
