When you get high blood pressure, it might be tough for you to understand exactly what impact those numbers can make on your overall health. After all, high blood pressure(hypertension) has no unusual day-to-day symptoms. But the truth is that having high blood pressure is a serious health risk- it boosts the chances of leading killers such as heart attack and stroke and aneurysms, cognitive decline, and kidney failure.

Blood pressures measurements fall into several categories:

  • Normal blood pressure- Your blood pressure is normal if it's below 120/80 mm Hg.

  • Elevated blood pressure- Elevated blood pressure is a systolic pressure ranging from 120 to 129 mm Hg and a diastolic pressure below 80 mm Hg. Elevated blood pressure is also called prehypertension. Elevated blood pressure tends to get worse over time unless steps are taken to control blood pressure.

  • Stage 1 hypertension- Stage 1 hypertension is a systolic pressure ranging from 130 to 139 mm Hg or a diastolic pressure ranging from 80 to 89 mm Hg.

  • Stage 2 hypertension- More severe hypertension, stage 2 hypertension is a systolic pressure of 140 mm Hg or higher or a diastolic pressure of 90 mm Hg or higher.

  • Hypertensive crisis- A blood pressure measurement higher than 180/120 mm Hg is an emergency that requires urgent medical care. You can rest at home but if your blood pressure is still high, contact your doctor.

Music and blood pressure have a connection as it helps to improve your overall health. Healing music-it can lift you and chill you out. No matter where you're in the world, music is there in some form or other. Listening to music that lowers blood pressure and stabilizes your heart rate. There is, of course, much healing music that has a positive effect, so without further ado, check on our most relaxing songs.

How does healing work?

Sound helps to facilitate shifts in our brainwave state by using entertainment. Entertainment synchronizes our fluctuating brainwaves by providing a stable frequency to which the brainwave can tune. By using rhythm and frequency, we can entrain our brainwaves, and it then becomes possible to down-shift our normal beta state(normal waking consciousness) to alpha (relaxed consciousness) and even reach theta (meditative state) and delta (sleep, where internal healing can occur). The same concept is utilized in meditation by regulating the breath, but with sound, it's the frequency that is the agent which influences the shift.

Sound Pharmacy has different features of sound to improve your emotional and physical well-being. How healing sound works will depend on being used as healing sound is an expanded field.

It's almost impossible to find someone who doesn't feel a strong connection to music. Everyone plays healing music to improve stress and raise your spirits. In the past few decades, music therapy has played an increasing role in all facets of healing.
