Star Wars. Everyone knows about it. The main characters, Darth Vader and Luke Skywalker wields lightsaber weapons in their fights against the Empire.

This article will answer exactly how much a lightsaber would cost for the Empire to make them – and how many they could afford to get more affordable lightsaber from Zia Sabers!

Light Sabers are fantastic. They have a “red” or a “blue” blade, depending on the character that wields it.

The lightsaber is like a laser sword; powerful and deadly in battle!

Now how much would a lightsaber cost? Well, I found out it depends a lot on what type you want! The most basic lightsaber consists of 3 parts: A power cell, a power distribution device, and one or two beam focusing crystals.

The power cell powers the lightsaber (duh); it also gives the color of the blade when in action! The power distribution device channels energy from the cell to the crystal(s). It has an adjustable regulator so that it's not too much for it to handle! The beam focusing crystal(s) are just that: the source of energy used to create the lightsaber blade.

Custome lightsaber build cost:

 $1,600

This is a pretty basic lightsaber. The power cell and distribution device can be bought online or made in your lab for cheap! The hardest part should be the focus crystal(s); they're not easy to find on eBay…

The next type of lightsaber you could build yourself would be like Darth Mauls or Darth Vader's. They have a different design than the custom one described above because it is way more complicated.

This lightsaber contains two extra parts: A cathode tube and a focusing lens. The cathode tube connects the power cell to the focusing lens, which channels the energy into the cylindrical focusing crystal inside of it! The focusing lens focuses the energy into a tight beam.

The two extra parts are very hard to find, but if you were making this yourself, you could try using something else instead of them (like a laser pointer).

Now we're getting fancy! This lightsaber is by far the most complex and probably the coolest looking. It has three extra parts: power amplifiers, beam transformers, and a plasma focus chamber. Because this lightsaber is so advanced, it's going to be really expensive!

Trunks' lightsaber cost $4,000

. The power amplifiers and beam transformers are the same as with Darth Vader's lightsaber, so you might find those at a lab somewhere. Who knows, maybe you can make them yourself?

The hard part is finding the plasma focus chamber. You may want to try eBay or other auction sites.

This type of lightsaber has six extra parts! It's the most advanced lightsaber you can make, so it will be very expensive.

The extra parts are: Redirecting Diopside Crystals, Deflection Matrix, Energy Converters, Mirror Assembly, and a Parametric Array Booster.

The redirecting diopside crystals channel the energy into two more crystal arrays which concentrate the power. They're used in conjunction with the deflector matrix, which converts the energy into a cool beam!

Next comes the energy converter, which breaks down recessed force waves and boosts them back to plasma form. The mirror assembly redirects the beam into its final shape! This lightsaber was designed by Luke Skywalker, who used it while training.

If you buy all your materials individually, you can make a basic lightsaber for $150. But if you want to buy one already made, you're probably going to have to pay more than that!

First off, let's talk about the parts of the lightsaber and how they work…A lightsaber is a laser sword with a blade that only comes out when it is activated by its wielder.

The first type is what I would call an “anti-lightsaber.” This is when a Jedi goes against another Jedi in battle with lightsabers. During this battle, the Jedi uses his/her saber to cut off all of an opponent's limbs. When all four limbs are gone, the light goes out, and the Jedi is victorious!

How much would it cost for a lightsaber: $2800 USD (approx.)

Reasoning: The most basic model is the one I listed above. It is a bit pricy due to the complexity of the parts and that it could be custom made, but it is not too much.
