Few rivalries pack a stadium — or spike prices — like Packers vs Bears. If you're hunting for Green Bay Packers vs Chicago Bears tickets without overpaying, a little strategy goes a long way. This historic NFC North matchup routinely ranks among the priciest games on the NFL resale market, so knowing where and when to buy matters as much as knowing where to sit.
Why Packers vs Bears Tickets Run So High
This is the oldest rivalry in NFL history, and demand reflects it. Think of it like Black Friday for football fans — prices spike fast, then settle. Games at Soldier Field in Chicago or Lambeau Field in Green Bay have historically ranked among the most expensive regular-season tickets in the league.
What Drives the Price Swings
- Playoff implications or rivalry week timing
- Weather (a snowy Lambeau game sells premium)
- National broadcast slots (primetime = pricier)
Compare Multiple Marketplaces Before You Buy
Never buy from the first listing you see. Prices for the same section can vary by $50–$150 across marketplaces due to differing fees and seller markups.
Sites Worth Checking
Cross-reference listings on major resale platforms, then check team-specific pages like Green Bay Packers tickets to track pricing trends over the season.
Time Your Purchase Strategically
Prices typically dip 4–6 weeks out, then climb again in the final week as scarcity sets in. Buying too early or too late both carry risk — the sweet spot is usually mid-season for non-marquee matchups.
Set Price Alerts
Many platforms let you track a game and get notified when prices drop, similar to setting a fare alert for flights.
Choose Seats That Fit Your Budget
Upper-level end zone seats can cost a third of what lower-bowl sideline seats run. If atmosphere matters more than sightlines, end zone seats near the student or fan sections deliver plenty of energy for less.
Factor in Total Cost, Not Just Face Value
Always check the all-in price after fees — a "cheaper" ticket with high fees can end up costing more at checkout.
