The International English Language Testing System (IELTS) is a standardized test of English language proficiency for non-native speakers. There are two IELTS tests: Academic and General. The Academic IELTS Test is taken by people who wish to attend a university course in an English-speaking country. The General IELTS Test is taken by people who wish to immigrate to Canada, Australia, New Zealand, the UK, and other English-speaking countries.
IELTS assesses the test takers' proficiency in Listening, Reading, Writing, and Speaking. IELTSWebinars7 offers IELTS preparation course that can help you improve your Listening Band Score, Reading Band Score (both the Academic and the General Test), Writing Band Score (both the Academic and the General Test), and Speaking Band Score. Each course lasts for 7 days. These courses are internet-based. This means that you can access them through your computer, a mobile phone or a tablet.
Each course comprises three main elements:
- Webinars. There are six webinars in each course. Each webinar lasts for 50-70 minutes. Webinars are online classes, and just like traditional classes, you can listen, see and interact with the teacher if you have any questions. You can attend the webinars from the comfort of your home, sitting in front of your computer, phone or tablet. During the webinars, you will be taught strategies that show you how and where to find the right answer in the listening and reading tests, as well as the steps to follow to score 7.0 or above in the IELTS Writing and Speaking tests.
- Homework. During each webinar, we teach you the steps to follow to Improve IELTS Listening Practice, reading, writing, and/or speaking Band Score. After each webinar, we will give you some exercises to complete at home. These exercises will help you put into practice the techniques and strategies needed to improve your IELTS Band Score. It is recommended that you spend 40-60 minutes every day on homework. Your teacher will check your homework every day and provide you valuable feedback on how to improve your IELTS Band Score.
- IELTS Mock Test. At the end of each course you will take an IELTS Mock Test. The test will be scored by our assessors and you will be given a Band Score. The Band Score issued by our assessors will help you see whether you are ready to take the IELTS Test or not. Additionally, you will receive a detailed feedback on the IELTS Mock Test. This feedback will help you understand what you need to do to improve your IELTS Band Score.
The first day of each course is free. Unlike many other online IELTS Preparation courses that make you pay in advance, we want to give you an opportunity to see what strategies and techniques we teach. If you find our teaching approach helpful, you need to pay the course fee to attend the rest of the course (i.e. Day 2, Day 3, Day 4, Day 5, Day 6, and Day 7). The fee for each course is US$99.
