Except for the z900, Kawasaki also has other popular bikes. For example, the KLX 150. For MY2021, the Kawasaki KLX 150 received new color options for the Indonesian market. The updated dual-purpose motorcycle is now available in green and black paint schemes in the Southeast Asian country. Kawasaki is asking for IDR 30,900,000 (INR 1.60,788) for the new model.
The 2021 Kawasaki KLX 150 green color is a familiar hue we've seen on many other Kawasaki motorcycles before. The front fender, side fairing and part of the tail are finished in green and the headlight grille in white. The shield and the exhaust frame are, what it looks like, silver in color. The graphics on the side fairing are in black. Overall, the green color option of the 2021 Kawasaki KLX 150 looks pretty good.
The other paint scheme where the 2021 model of the KLX 150 is available in Indonesia is black. With the exception of the engine, spoked wheels, frame, swingarm and muffler, the rest of the bike is finished in black. This kind adds a sportier touch to the car. To spice things up a bit, Kawasaki used red colored graphics in this color scheme.
This dual-purpose motorcycle is powered by a 144cc air-cooled single-cylinder engine that produces 12hp of maximum power at 8000rpm and 11.3Nm of maximum torque at 6500rpm. There are 2 tubes and a SOHC. For the gearbox we have a 5-speed unit.
The 33mm telescopic front fork and 5-way adjustable rear monoshock help the KLX 150 cope with various off-road conditions. Adding to the same cause, a 19-inch front wheel and a 16-inch rear wheel. The ground clearance is 255 mm and the total weight is 116 kg.
In India we have the Kawasaki KLX range available, but the KLX 150 is not one of them. Models listed on the company's Indian official website include the KLX 110, KLX 140G, and KLX 450R.
