This handy little graph by Mercer from their just released “Inside Employee’s Minds” report shows how employee needs have changed over the last 20 years. Has your leadership style evolved to meet these changes?

Also, of note. Financial wellbeing is now at the top of the list. I’d felt that these winds might be changing but hadn’t seen the research showing that it was a shift to be reckoned with. This study brings this clearly into focus.

Pay is becoming one of the top drivers for employee engagement and performance. This for the first time in the almost 30 years I’ve been studying it.
