Advantages & Disadvantages

Advantages – IoT has more manageable components. It is easier to deploy, support, maintain, troubleshoot, manage access control for multiple devices vs AI which has challenges due to its complexity. Disadvantages – IoT systems are built on closed platforms where applications need to be tailored for different devices. Example: if you want to create an application for your smart light bulb, you will have to create one app individually for each smart light bulb manufacture.

IoT, AI, what’s in a name? Both are different concepts with varying degrees of autonomy.
