What is meant by towing a car?

Towing refers to the transportation of a car using a tow truck to the garage or a mechanic shop, this may be required when you run into an accident, emergency or when your car breaks down. There are a lot of car companies which offer such services in many cities around the clock 24/7. Some people worry about the towing damage caused to a car while using such services but this never happens unless there is some technical problem while loading or unloading the car.

What types of damage could occur?

This is very unlikely to happen as this might be a very rare case. Although if damage might occur, the most common form is the damage to the car’s bumper from the tow truck. The reason is due to the hook attached from the tow truck which may be improperly positioned. The damage to the bumper can be pretty bad which might need to be completely replaced with a new one. Sometimes there are other things like tires and windshields which could be damaged as part of the towing damage.
