Square Enix's HD-2D games have been getting a lot positive attention from gamers. Some titles like Octopath traveler and Triangle Strategy have really captured the interest of retro fans in part because of their distinctive art style.
In a new interview with 4Gamer (translated via Nintendo Everything), Triangle Strategy producer Tomoya Asano discussed the design style as well as the way it's utilized in the future games of the company.
