WoTLK Gold is WoW's eighth expansion and is scheduled to be released at the end of the year. It also includes controller support, however Hazzikostas stresses that the possibility of a WoW console port is not going to happen.

World of Warcraft Is Getting Controller Support with Shadowlands, But Don't Expect An Xbox Port
Among many other things, World of Warcraft ‘s new Shadowlands expansion adds official controller support to the game as the first official time it has been added since the MMO first launched with PC on the PC in. In a recent interview with P2Pah, game director Ion Hazzikostas spoke about why Blizzard is expanding controller support and, sorry! this doesn't necessarily mean a console port of WoW is imminent.
Hazzikostas stated that controller support for controllers in WoW will be provided in the form of allowing players access to the API (API) for enabling a controller configuration. It won't be possible to connect your Xbox or PlayStation controller and play WoW in the same way, but this API access will allow gamers who use Xbox Adaptive Controller Xbox Adaptive Controller and other controllers to play the game in a way that is suitable to their preferences.
This controller support update will give people with physical disabilities and other impairments the ability to enjoy WoW without too stress, Hazzikostas said.
“It's more about more direct API access that's aimed at the accessibility community. There are lots of folks who don't have the capability to use a keyboard and mouse or other traditional tools for controlling their devices. They have relied on a myriad of complicated solutions to gain access to devices like Microsoft's powerful control for interacting with the game world” said the Microsoft cheap WoTLK Classic Gold. “We wanted to remove the need to jump through all the hurdles. Also, we want to support more directly the API. We're eager to see what this community develops.”
