Kim Ha-jin (3rd grade) of Bucheon Middle School in Gyeonggi Province achieved a cycling hit at the 3rd Baekhogi National Middle School Baseball Tournament, co-hosted by the Korea Baseball Softball Association (Chairman Lee Jong-hoon) and Hyeokseong County (County Commander Kim Myung-ki).
Kim Ha-jin started at second base against Yeosu Middle School of Jeonnam of the Taegi Wang League in the 3rd Baekhogi National Middle School Baseball Tournament held at Hwaseong Baseball Park B on March 7, and hit a double to right center field in the first inning. He followed that up with a triple over the right field fence in the third inning and a three-run home run to left-center field in the fifth inning.
Kim finished the game 5-for-5 with one home run and five RBIs, playing both center field and second base and making plays on offense and defense to lead Bucheon Middle School to a 21-2 victory.
