There's a reason why eggs are one of the favourite breakfast choices across the planet. After all, eggs are delicious and nutritious and can be used to make different dishes. What if we told you that you could make eggs even more appealing? Especially when the holiday season is near, decorating hard-boiled eggs can be a great way to express yourself, manifest your ideas, and create fun art.

Though there are many ways to decorate eggs, wouldn't it be better if you could retain the edibleness of eggs while making them more awesome? Edible glitter can be a great way to create a more alluring and sparkling version of your eggs. It will not just give a sparkly twist to your plain-looking eggs but will also keep them 100% natural and ingestible.

Supplies that you will need:

Different Coloured Edible Glitters
2-3 Large Paper Plates
Water
Edible Glue
3-4 Plastic Cups With Wide Openings
Hard-boiled Eggs With Shells
An Old Empty Egg Carton

Directions

  1. Take a plastic cup and fill ½ of it with edible glue.
  2. Pick other plastic cups and fill ¼ of each of them with different coloured sparkly edible glitters!
  3. Pick a hard-boiled egg and dip it into edible glue. You will probably be able to dip only half of the egg. The rest of the egg might still look just the same.
  4. After coating the layer of glue, take the egg and dip it into the plastic cup containing your favourite glitter, say edible gold glitter, and let it rest for a while.
  5. Place the newly glittered eggs upside-down on the carter to let the twinkling colourful part dry.
  6. Once you are sure that the food glitter has dried, take the eggs and follow the above procedure to beautify the untouched half of all your eggs.
  7. Repeat this process with all the eggs and you will get a bowl full of glittery eggs.
