The enthusiasm I have my passion, enthusiasm to the table is contagious. You can ask anybody who is on the Oklahoma staff. This is what I bring in the Madden 23 coins meeting."

Here's Leaf from a 2017. blog post on the Player's Tribune:

Congratulations. You're officially blessed with everything: money, power and fame. All the things that are essential, aren't they? In the evening it will be time to board an aircraft that is private for Las Vegas to pull a joyful all-nighter, while sportswriters in San Diego write columns that connect your name to the word "savior." As you be reading them and thinking,"Savior ... it sounds quite right.

This is you, young Ryan Leaf, at his top form: arrogant overbearing and hyperbolic. You believe that you're at the top of the world and that you've got everything covered.

Well I'm sorry to have to say this however the truth is ...

You're not knowledgeable.

They aren't always precise.

A few comparisons are helpful. Mayfield's game has been compared with Russell Wilson's.

Does Mayfield have confidence like Leaf did? Yep. Did he have a run-in with the law? In the offseason in 2016 the actor was detained for three misdemeanors, including fleeing arrest, public intoxication, and disorderly behavior.

But not every prospect has to be placed in the exact same category as another player in the sole reason that they have similarities. We've also heard Mayfield compared to Johnny Manziel, which is acceptable on certain dimensions. When these comparisons get underway it's not difficult to see that Mayfield's career is going to end like Manziel's.

But that leap, much like it's counterpart Leaf proposes, doesn't seem the way fair. Mayfield's brashness isn't automatically an indication of a career which is about to crash off the rails.

What's the reason Miami airport employees are fasting in protest during Super Bowl week

"Our members earn their living," Madden NFL 23PA executive director DeMaurice Smith told workers protesting at the Miami airport Monday morning. "They're the ones who break their backs, they're ones who break their fingers, they're the ones who actually perform the work. We're labor. They're management, we're labor."

Smith tried to dispel the common belief that the unions of athletes don't require or offer the same type of solidarity as unions that are larger and comprise lower-income laborers, like health workers' unions, teacher's unions or in the case unions like UNITE HERE -- the union that is behind the protest- hospitality, transportation and cheap madden 23 coins manufacturing workers throughout the country.
