Recently, Microsoft has announced a few new updates related to the Surface Pro X in order to make it faster and flashier. In this article, we have discussed in detail about the Surface Pro X.

Surface Pro X: Specifications

The Surface Pro X comes in two processor variants, Microsoft SQ1 and Microsoft SQ2. It comes in 8 GB and 16 GB of LPDDR4x RAM variants. The Surface Pro X has a 13-inch PixelSense display with a resolution of 2800 x 1920 pixels (i.e., 267 PPI). The device has an aspect ratio of 3:2 aspect and is a 10-point multitouch.

The Surface Pro X works on a Qualcomm Snapdragon X24 LTE processor. Surface Pro X: Accessories & Other Details

One of the biggest changes is that Microsoft would offer, as an optional upgrade, their new Microsoft SQ2 processor over the SQ1 that you get on your Surface Pro X. This new SQ2 processor is an enhanced version of the Qualcomm-built SQ1 processor, and it would offer more CPU and GPU performance

The new SQ2 processor would have an Adreno 690 GPU compared to the Adreno 685 in the SQ1 processor, and it would have more than 3GHz frequency that is found on the SQ1 processor.

Other than the newly provided option of the new CPU, the Surface Pro X can now be opted in Platinum, than just the only matte black color in which it was available previously. It is only for a bit of refreshment as the Surface Pro X still offers similar features even in this new color variant. It has a starting price of $999.99, and if you update your device to the new SQ2 powered processor, the overall estimated cost of your device would be $1499.99.

Microsoft has also announced many new accessories for the Surface Pro X. The company has added new optional keyboard colors for the Surface Pro X. You can have access to Ice Blue, Platinum, and Poppy Red color keyboards. The company has also announced new compact design keyboards with Bluetooth, that offer two years of battery life. They can easily support three-device, alongside the matching number pads.

Microsoft is also offering a vast range of colors for the Microsoft Modern Mobile Mouse. It has also announced the Bluetooth Ergonomic Mouse, that you can have for $49.99. Also, there’s an announcement regarding the new 4K Display Adapter from Microsoft that would be priced at $69.99.
