You should take a look at the entire model to observe how it will play out, but I'd like to go over the few aspects that have me stunned with the greatest surprise from Kiper's latest projection.
Wilson is very much similar to what teams need in receivers in the present. Wilson is a great skill after the catch. He has an intuitive sense of how to get past defenders to pick more yards. There's not a perfect analogy to make, but you can imagine him more in his Cooper Kupp mold. Wilson will make a quarterback appear better. He'll get certain downfield passes, but his real strength lies in placing the ball in his hands and have him create plays.
London is the exact opposite. He's a huge-bodied receiver, with huge catch radius, and plays more like an alternative tight end. The skill set isn't dissimilar to that similar to that of Kyle Pitts or a Mike Evans which makes him attractive to teams. These are players who can pick up a ball with a questionable jump and turn it into a massive game, simply because they can grab passes smaller than defensive backs.
This makes a lot of sense to the Jets that Kiper have taking London at No. 4. This is ridiculously early however, he's a receiver who can aid Zach Wilson immensely, who's always had a propensity for throwing balls 50/50 and then ask his receiver to play.Bet on 2022's Madden NFL 23 Draft at DraftKings Sportsbook No. 2: Carolina gets it wrong … A LOT!
There's something wrong there with Travon Walker. Hell, I had him in the top spot at No. 12 in my mock for the Vikings and I believe the Vikings would make an excellent choice. If the Panthers select him with their sixth madden 23 coins cheappick it would be an absolute mistake.
