We have carefully designed the 09-day itinerary for your summer travel to Nepal, which you can do from mid-June to mid-September. However, it does not mean that you cannot do this tour at other times, you can do this tour all year round including the summer season, the summer tour program includes cultural visits in Kathmandu, trekking to Chisapani-Nagarkot plus a visit to the Chitwan National Park.

The summer tour package starts on your arrival at Kathmandu airport followed by sightseeing in Kathmandu and a hike to Chisapani Nagarkot and a visit to the Chagunarayan before your return to Kathmandu. You drive to Chitwan National Park for jungle activities, explore nature and wildlife and return to Kathmandu for your return flight home.

Itinerary in detail

Day 01: Arrive at Kathmandu airport and transfer to the hotel

When flying to Kathmandu on a clear day, the views of snow-capped mountain peaks sprawl down below you & are almost breathtaking, beginning a whole link of memorable experiences that stay with you for a long time. 

Our escort and driver from the company will meet you at the airport and escort you to your hotel. Our representative will help you check into your designated hotel; & at your hotel, you will be briefed about your holiday program and you will have free time.

Day 02: Full day sightseeing in historical Kathmandu

After having breakfast at the hotel, we will take you for a sightseeing tour in Kathmandu, Kathmandu is the historical hub of Nepal and has been a popular destination for tourists ever since Nepal opened its doors to visitors.

The city presents an interesting holy mix of Hinduism, Tibetan Buddhism, and western influence in the valley.

There will be a full-day guided tour to the famous and biggest Hindu shrine of Pashupatinath, the largest Buddhist Stupa, Swoyambhunath, and Kathmandu durbar square. All these sites you visit are UNESCO-recognized World Heritage sites.

Day 03: Drive from Kathmandu to Sundarijal and hike to Chisapani

After having breakfast at the hotel, we will drive to Sundarijal, which takes about an hour. We start our hiking, and the trail gradually up with pine and oak forest, this ShivapuripuriNational Park is a good spot for bird watching, and some other wild animals can be seen during this hike.

From Chisapani we will see the panoramic view of the Himalayas and the valley. And, this is the residence of the Sherpa ethnic group; this is the nearest place to Kathmandu where you will experience the culture and the lifestyle of the Sherpa indigenous.

Day 04: Trekking form Chisapani to Nagarkot

After having breakfast at the lodge, we start our trekking to Chauki Bhanjag, which takes about two and a half hours, and we will stop here for an hour for our lunch. We continue the charming trails leading 3 hours toward Nagarkot.

(Walking 5/6 hrs) Nagarkot, (2175m) is by far the most popular. In the clear, the Himalayas range, stretching from Dhaulagiri in the west past Everest to Kanchenjunga in the east, emerges from the darkness to greet the happy visitor with its awe-inspiring majesty and beauty.

Day 05: Hike from Nagarkot to Chagunarayan Temple and drive to Kathmandu

We will have a sunrise view early morning. The Nagarkot is located at the top of the hill. This is also a good place to see the Himalayan Panorama through a Himalayan River valley.

After breakfast, hike for a couple of hours to Chagunarayan temple which is a very old and artistic temple of Nepal that is listed in UNESCO world heritage. After visiting this temple, we will drive to Kathmandu in- free time.

Day 06: Drive from Kathmandu to Chitwan

After b/fast, we will drive down to Chitwan, this is about a 6-7 hours wonderfully scenic drive along the banks of the Trisuli river, and you can view the beautiful landscapes, valleys, mountains, lush green hamlets set amidst colored rural landscapes.

If you have any time constraints, you have options of taking private transport or flights.

Day 07: Full-Day Jungle Activities

After b/fast amidst the sweet chirping of birds, we set out for a Full day of jungle activities that include Jungle Walking, Elephant Back Riding Safari across streams & into the jungles.

We also enjoy watching the Elephants bathing and visiting the elephant Breeding center, at the eventide, while having supper, we enjoy a scintillating Tharu cultural stick dance that’s exciting to watch in the evening.

Day 08: Chitwan – Kathmandu

In the morning after b/fast, you will drive from Chitwan to Kathmandu and transfer to the hotel.

Day 09: Transfer to the international airport for your final departure

Our escorts & vehicles will be on standby at your hotel to take you to the airport for your final departure to your sweet home.
