Within a short span of a few years, the internet and phones became wireless, and now we even have wireless chargers. Many users are interested in wireless chargers, but you should know that it is still in its early stages. The technology will evolve dramatically over the upcoming years.

Now technology has found its way for practical applications for laptops, smartphones, wearables, kitchen appliances, and even in some electric vehicles. Several companies are working on wireless chargers. Samsung is trying to get rid of the cables and offer more advanced features to its users. Reportedly, Samsung is working on the foldable wireless charger.

It is estimated that the global wireless charging market size will increase at a fast pace. These types of technology will offer the ultimate convenience to the users and ensure safe and fast charging, even in a hazardous environment. The dangerous environment refers to the situation when an electric spark leads to an explosion.

Samsung’s New Foldable Charger

Some images released on the web show that Samsung is going to reveal its foldable wireless charger. Roland Quandt, a well-known tech leaker, has leaked the new Samsung’s foldable charger’s images. Possibly, Samsung will brand this charger as the EP-N3300 9W.

Roland Quandt claims that Samsung will unveil this charger with the launch of Galaxy Note 20 Series. He also claims that it might be launched as the convertible foldable charger that will be compatible with selected Apple and Galaxy devices.

It is pretty much clear that the model will have a kickstand, but it doesn’t look adjustable. As per the reports, it will have a 9W charging speed, which is not very fast.

The charger comes in white and black variants, and you can also charge non-Samsung devices like Apple. If your smartphone supports the Qi wireless charging standard, you can also use it with your smartphone.

How Wireless Charging Works?

It is based on the principle of inductive power transfer/IPT or MR/magnetic resonance. In this charger, the energy is transferred from the charger to the smartphone through electromagnetic induction. The smartphone has a magnetic induction receiver placed on its backside. Their charger generates an electromagnetic field connected from the receiver coil on the back of your phone. It converts the electromagnetic field into power.

Here is all the information about the wireless chargers, but after the launch of the foldable wireless charger by Samsung, there might be a huge change in the wireless charger industry.
