Recently, New Zealand has come across a remarkable decline in Pharmacy. The number of pharmacists available in healthcare facilities has diminished at a high rate. As the demand for pharmaceutical services is mushrooming every day, this significant shortage of personnel is putting a strain on the entire healthcare system.

Several pharmacies have been shut down by the supermarket chain countdown due to a shortage of skilled professionals.
