Hyundai Create created its own space in the market as soon as it was launched in 2015. The car has been one of the best sellers in the SUV segment. However, the car is starting to face stiff competition from other SUVs in modern times. So Hyundai would be bringing in the much-needed revolution in the Creta. The model is sold in many countries and called the ix25 in South America and China. The ix25 has already been introduced in China and there are only some days before the car is launched in India.
Upgrades in the exterior design
The next-gen Hyundai Creta will be 30 mm longer than the previous model, 8 mm shorter and 10 mm wider. The car that has been sanctioned for Indian markets would have these dimensions, but there would be better ground clearance. This will improve the off-road capabilities of the car. This will make sure that the car can adjust to the bad road conditions in the country. The Creta will adhere to the latest design philosophy of Hyundai. The car will be borrowing the split headlights from the Venue. A black chrome grille will be present in the new vehicle, flanked by DRLs.
The car will sport cool interiors
The 2020 Hyundai Creta interior will be very similar to the one of ix25. However, there would be minor tweaks. There would be a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system. So the buttons on the dashboard would be quite small. The Creta will be studded with features that add to the comfort of the car. The driving wheel would have a flat bottom with audio controls. Autocruise, ventilated front seats and start/stop push button would be present in the car. One of the bestselling points of Hyundai – The Blue Link connectivity system would be present in this generation.
The car will have some cool specs
The new Hyundai Creta would be borrowing its platform from the Kia Seltos, which has also been launched recently. The Creta will adopt the powertrains of the Kia Seltos. So, a 1.5-litre petrol engine and a 1.5-litre turbo diesel engine is expected to be present on the car. The car will conform to the BS-6 emission standards that have been laid down. The car is also going to receive a new 1.4-litre turbo petrol engine very similar to the one on Seltos GT. There is also the chance of a hybrid engine being available for the Creta.
The car will have a price similar to the outgoing model
The car would not have to spend a lot on updating the engines to the new emission standards. Also, the platform is being borrowed from the Kia Seltos. Thus there would not be too much expenditure on the development of the new model. It can be expected that the cost of the price would be similar to the current model or even lower. There would be stiff competition in India surrounding this segment. There will be plenty of rivals waiting for the new Hyundai Creta.
