NIOS 10th & 12th, Secondary & Sr. Secondary Admission Open 2022

 

NIOS (The National Institute of Open Schooling), formerly (NOS) National Open School, is a board of education under the Union Govt. of India.

 

Eligibility Criteria for NIOS Secondary Admission 2022 Secondary: The minimum age to take a10th class admission is 14 years as of 31st January of the current year (for more details, see NIOS prospectus)

 

A student who has passed class eight and has valid proof of age attaining Fourteen(14) years can apply for registration to the 10th Class Course.

 

A student is given a self-certificate “I have studied enough to be able to pursue class 10 course” is also eligible for admission to the NIOS Secondary Course.

 

A student who had studied at the NIOS secondary level can also seek admission in NIOS either to complete his course or to improve his performance.

 

Sr. Secondary: The minimum age to take admission in the NIOS Senior Secondary Course is fifteen years as of 31st January of the current year (for more details, see NIOS prospectus) In order to take admission in the NIOS Senior Secondary course,

the student must have passed the Class 10 (Secondary course) from a recognised Board.

Fee payment mode for Online Admission

There will be two options for the payment of fee

(A) The fee can be deposited Online through Credit Card /Debit Card/Net Banking.

(B) In case admission is done through Common Services Centres, fee could be paid via Electronic Wallet of CSCs.

Note:

In addition to above Fee, Rs. 50/- (Rs. Fifty Only) will be added as cost of online Application Form for all Streams (Stream 1, 2, 3 and 4).

 

Supporting Documents required

The learner has to be ready with the Scanned copy/soft copy (jpg, jpeg files) of the given below documents which will be required to be uploaded while registering for the Admission to Secondary and Senior Secondary courses

Signature (preferably in Black Ink)

Valid identity proof (like Aadhaar Card or Passport or Ration card or etc.)

Valid proof of Date of Birth (like Aadhaar Card with date of birth printed on it in the dd/mm/yyyy format, Birth Certificate etc.)

A valid proof of Residence (like Aadhaar Card with complete address printed on it, valid Passport etc.).

Address proof i.e. Aadhaar Card/Water Bill/Electricity Bill/Voter ID/Ration Card/Indian

Passport/Statement of Operational Bank Account/Appointment Letter from the Employer on Printed Letter Head, if living in rented accommodation – copy of any proof of permanent address along with present Rented Agreement

Class 8th mark sheet (in case of secondary course) or class 10th mark sheet (in case of senior secondary course)

Social category/Caste certificate (in case the learner belongs to SC/ST/OBC social category).o Ex-serviceman certificate (in case he/she is an Ex-serviceman)

Disability certificate (in case he/she is having any kind of disability)

Fail Mark sheet of previous Board, failing which Transfer of Credit (TOC) marks will not be

Updated in NIOS result. If TOC Board marked with (*other) is selected then the Result should be available on the Concerned Board Website or Learner has to submit result verification letter from Concerned Board as per NIOS norms

Read the instructions/declaration and then click on Proceed. The learner can click on Cancel button if he/she does not want to continue the process.

 

You are registering for On Demand

On-line Admission for learners who want to appear under the On Demand Examination System (ODES) of NIOS for Secondary level (Stream-3) or Sr. Secondary level (Stream-4)

Stream for On-line admission is open throughout the year for those learners who have already passed the Secondary Examination from the recognised Board and wish to take part admission in one subject or up to 4 subjects for updating their qualification, or learners who had appeared but could not clear, or who were eligible but could not appear in the Public Examination of the Secondary level from any recognised Board and want to appear through On Demand Examination System of NIOS for the Secondary level only and entry requirement of age, address proof as per table 3. The learners may upload the failed mark sheet/Admit Card (Hall Ticket) along with relevant/supporting document and photograph on appropriate space available in the Online Admission Form for confirmation of the admission.

The learners who had applied for Transfer of Credit (TOC) have to send original failed mark sheet mentioning the Reference Number on the back of Mark Sheet to Online Cell, NIOS, Room No. 408, A-24-25, Institutional Area, Sector-62, NOIDA-201309, Uttar Pradesh.

The Subjects available for appearing through ODES at Secondary level are Hindi (201), English (202), Sanskrit (209), Mathematics (211), Science & Technology (212), Social Science (213), Economics (214), Business Studies (215), Home Science (216), Psychology (222), Indian Culture & Heritage (223), Painting (225) and Data Entry Operations (229).
