On April 29, 2021, Honda officially unveiled the all-new Civic (Generation 11) overseas, which will be available in the North American market this summer, following the launch of a hatchback version.
In terms of the exterior, the new Civic has also seen a dramatic change, ditching the iconic slideback rear and “C-shaped” headlights in favor of a more traditional three-box sedan with milder headlights.
In terms of appearance, the new car basically continues the previous release of the prototype car design style, compared with the current model, the new generation appears more introverted, and positioning higher Accord more similar. It can be said that the new Civic has abandoned many of the “new and different” signature elements of the current Civic, and the overall style tends to be more mature, close to the “Accord” and “Inspire”, which may also represent a subtle change in the positioning of the Civic user group.
At the same time, it is worth mentioning that the new Civic will also cancel the manual transmission model and match the CVT transmission due to the declining demand for the manual transmission model. For many domestic car fans friends, this is really a sad news.
