OnePlus made its debut in the high-end category two years back. The debuted phone of that time was the OnePlus 7 Pro. This smartphone was firmly competing with some of the best android smartphones of that time. However, while OnePlus rocked with the hardware part of its smartphone, the camera quality was a real letdown.

Last year, the OnePlus 8 Pro also followed the same issue. However, this time, OnePlus has introduced a lot of appealing features like a QHD AMOLED screen display, 65Watt wired and 50Watt wireless proprietary fast charging, and IP68 water and dust resistance. But it seems like OnePlus has no plan to compete with its rivals in terms of camera quality.

Price and Availability

The latest OnePlus 9 Pro went on sale on April 2 in North America, Europe, UK, and India. The basic model comes in 8 GB RAM and 128 GB storage configuration. An enhanced model also comes with 12 GB RAM and 256 GB storage configuration.

Below is the price list of OnePlus as per the different countries:

  • OnePlus 9 Pro Basic: USD 969, EUD 829, INR 64,999, CAD 1,349.
  • OnePlus 9 Pro (12 GB/128 GB): USD 1,069, EUD 929, INR 69,999, CAD1,499.

However, just after two months of its launch, the OnePlus 9 Pro basic smartphone became unavailable to order. The company said that they are working on restocking the basic smartphone, but not sure how much time it will take. But if you want to get a OnePlus 9 Pro, either you should wait for the basic phone to get restocked, or you have to buy the expensive one. Unlike its predecessor launches, the OnePlus 9 Pro is more expensive for India than other global markets.

It is available in three colors, and all the color variants are available in the UK, India, and Europe. But the Stellar black variant isn’t available for North America.
