Many users find issues while taking the screenshot. Sometimes it is hard to just find the “x” icon after taking a screenshot. You can also add emojis on your screenshots. Oxygen OS 12 allows you to make edits and deletes them before sharing them with others. You can also save these screenshots.

This is not the same feature you are expecting it to be. It will just resize your currently active screen. OnePlus is trying to make options more easily accessible for single-handed mode.
