Patient Story- Dental Cleaning & Bleeding Gums
Tara was very worried as she noticed that her gums had been bleeding while brushing. She has been having this issue since the last 3 months and now wanted to seek immediate help.
Tara mentioned that she has always brushed her teeth twice a day since the time she was little & hence was surprised when we let her know that the cause for her bleeding gums was in fact plaque buildup.
Plaque is a sticky deposit on teeth in which bacteria grow, If not cleaned regularly.
We let Tara know the different mistakes she could be making while brushing her teeth that made it difficult for her brush to reach certain areas of her teeth. We also showed her easy techniques that she could incorporate.
Tara had a dental cleaning done and was asked to maintain good oral hygiene by following the tips we shared with her!
On review after 2 months, Tara seemed very happy, “ I never thought such a small change in my routine could make such a huge difference! My gums completely stopped bleeding by Day 16. The warm salt water rinses too helped dramatically. I now recommend this to all my family & friends! ”
