The permeable pavers are designed to improve ground support for pedestrian and vehicular traffic. The paver allows the water to flow to the down surface. For permanent installation, the ground is cleared and then a layer of rock is installed for the paver base. Then the pallet-sized and light-weighted grid is laid out and locked together.
They are then filled with gravel or limestone. Permeable pavements are easy installation, durable, sustainable, of low cost, and can be used for lawn parking. Permeable pavements can support heavy equipment such as 18-wheelers, wheel loaders, dump trucks, etc without any problem. Like concrete, the permeable pavement will not crack due to expansion and contraction.
The permeable pavement grids are made from environmentally-friendly recycled materials, which reduces the amount of waste in the system and reduces the energy required to acquire new materials. At the end of their lifespan, they can easily be recycled, further reducing their carbon footprint.
