Although the Public Works Authority (Ashgal), working on the strategies of the event, will highlight its role and contributions over the years in preparing the infrastructure needed to host the upcoming Qatar World Cup 2022, many public and private companies will also advertise their post-FIFA World Cup projects in the country, which is an indication of the bright prospects in Qatar’s construction industry.
Responding to the Peninsula during a press conference, officials from Investment Holding Group (IHG) and Metito said the companies were currently working on a new multi-billion dollar investment in Qatar, which will be phased out in the next few years. Diversity is very important.
We go from the medical field to the tourism industry. We are building a 7-star hospital near Pearl-Qatar, as well as the Korean Medical Center which will provide a complete route. It is a huge investment in health care going forward. And we will continue to work in that field, and continue to expand our healthcare business in Qatar, said Dr. Henrik Christiansen, Chief Executive Officer of IHG, adding that both hospitals cost around $ 2.5bn.
Metito recently awarded the world's largest desalination plant and one of the world's largest wastewater treatment plants, is investing heavily in its Qatari projects that began in the mid-70s. We send and do many projects in different countries from our Qatar office. Locally, we are participating in more than 30 oil and gas projects, during the expansion of Northern Stadiums. Also, there are many opportunities for water and wastewater treatment in Qatar.
Recently, we have partnered with another major client to invest $ 1bn in a Qatari medical facility for the next two to three years, said Walid Oraby, Managing Director at Metito. Other companies that will be on display during the show include Suhail Industrial Holding Group, Qatari's largest industrial company. The company is currently looking at industrial production opportunities based on the recycling of metals. Jaber Alhajeri, Head of Public Relations at QTerminals added.
The Company's participation in Project Qatar this year is aimed at highlighting the company's past achievements and educating the event audience on the company's next goals, as well as building new partnerships with local and international market players. The upcoming FIFA World Cup 2022 and Qatar's National Vision 2030
Qatar Institute Management Market Research Report: Service, End User, Mode, Type Industrial Analysis and 2030 Predictability Growth Report added to the ResearchAndMarkets report. From an estimated $ 5,285.1 million by 2021, the market size of Qatari center management is expected to increase to $ 22,268.2 million by 2030, at a CAGR of 17.3% between 2021 and 2030.
A strong reason for that could be Qatar National Vision 2030, where the Qatari government wants to make itself less dependent on the oil and gas industry. As a result, infrastructure is being built on a large scale to support other industries, which, in time, will further the need for institutional care.
Some of the major ongoing construction projects in this regard are Sheraton Park, Western Green Spine in Doha, Sidra Medical Research Center, and the City of Education. In addition, the country will host the Qatar World Cup 2022, which is another important factor in promoting construction and infrastructure development here. The infrastructure, built at a cost of more than $ 220 billion, will need to be maintained even after the FIFA World Cup, thus creating a great need for institutional management.
In recent years, the most effective measure that has allowed these players in the Qatari real estate market to raise their money has been to get service contracts. For example, in June 2020, land reform contracts at the Singapore embassy and Al Kaabi Tower, both located in Doha, were secured by CBM Qatar LLC. These two-year contracts for security, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP), and cleaning services. The COVID-19 epidemic had a devastating effect on the need for institutional management by 2020 as many industrial and commercial centers were closed and there were restrictions on human mobility.
However, since the locks were raised, the demand for cleaning services has grown significantly, as the focus of organizations and individuals on general hygiene has grown exponentially. Real estate management services have seen the greatest demand in the Qatari real estate market to date because they include key resources that keep the infrastructure built in good working order.
The institutional approach will gain widespread popularity in the coming years as it allows industry and commercial organizations to turn their attention to these issues and focus on their core functions. Commercial consumers create the greatest need for institutional management in Qatar because clean and well-maintained shopping areas are important in attracting employers and tourists. The main practice of the Qatari institution is the management of green buildings, which the government supports to reduce power consumption.
