The Christmas holiday is the season of donations, and that's what the Saratoga Casino Hotel did this week. 파친코 Saratoga Springs-based Game Properties donated more than US$110,000 to local nonprofits during a Make A Difference holiday luncheon on November 30, 2021. This coincided with Tuesday's donation, known as Generous Day.

Saratoga Casino Hotel is a premium entertainment hotel with over 1,000 slot machines and electronic table games, world-class live harness racing, live simulcast and a variety of dining options. And as the holiday season approached, casinos once again showed responsibility and concern for the community.

Skip Carlson, vice president of external affairs at the Saratoga Casino Hotel, said hosting ‘Make A Differences' on Giving Tuesday is a good way to go. He said casinos are very fortunate to have these organizations in the community, and the company can provide them with some support so they can continue to change.

Casinos donated a total of US$110,000 to 11 local organizations, each receiving a huge US$10,000. The Donna M. Crandall Memorial Foundation, Franklin Community Center, Jake's Help from Heaven, The LifePath Supporting Services for Golder Adults, The Joseph C. and Anne T. Palamountain Scholarship Fund, Saratoga Community Health Center, Saratoga Performing Arts Center, Saratoga Spons-A-Scholar, SNACPack Program, Wellspring 및 The Wesley Foundation.

Carey Trimmings, program coordinator for SNACpack, released a statement thanking the casino for its generous donation to SNACpack. According to her, the unprecedented situation has caused not only increased food costs, but also created greater needs for children living with food insecurity. She said the organization continues to provide food through donations over the past 18 months.

Previously, casinos also participated in a special campaign called Socktober to donate over 5,000 pairs of socks to local homeless shelters. Over the past 16 years, casinos have donated more than $3 million to various charities and organizations in the capital region. The ‘Make a Differences' campaign was launched in 2004 and has supported the community to date.

Saratoga Casino Hotel, like other casino facilities in the state, was hit hard by unprecedented conditions and lockdown restrictions in 2020. However, during this summer, the facility showed strong indicators that it is recovering well. For the month of July, casinos recorded total gaming revenue of US$13.5 million and about US$13 million in August. In July, customers also bet more than US$193 million on video handsets alone.

Recently, Saratoga Casino Hotel has also joined forces to create a new horse racing association called We Are NY Horse Racing.
