We bring you the top places to visit in San Francisco with your family, particularly with kids. If you are not in San Francisco, San Francisco makes a wonderful weekend getaway. Otherwise, a week is required to fully enjoy the city and its walking tours.

1. Pier 39.

While I don't care about the cost of my holiday, I can appreciate the local shops, even if they are more expensive. You shouldn't avoid window shopping, or maybe even indulge a little.

Let me tell you about some of my favorite spots. There are so many choices that you can't help but be overwhelmed by them, but my favorite would have to be the dark chocolate caramel turtles. They are my favorite thing to eat while I walk along the pier. You can go into a small room and the lighting changes on his photos take my breath away. His work is beautiful and some of his photos are very elegant. Some of the locations he has photographed, I've never seen before.

This is the main attraction of most San Francisco tours.

2. The waterfront is home to the Fishermen's Wharf.

It was once the home of the local fisherman. There are still boats there, but not as many “fishing activities” as in years past. It is now a major tourist attraction that will allow you to spend your holiday money. It is, however, a great place to visit! It is impossible not to buy a crab sandwich, or a fresh crab cocktail. It's the best place to get the freshest and most delicious seafood on the waterfront.

This is a favorite part of San Francisco's city tours and one you will love to explore with your family.

3. You can watch chocolate being made in Ghirardelli Square

After a picnic, you can climb the hill. You can climb up the hill after a picnic. Your children may whine as they reach the top of the mountain. However, you can bribe their discontent by giving them a piece of Ghirardelli Square chocolate.

Grab your chocolate, and take a deep breath. This is a wonderful place to relax and enjoy some delicious ice cream.

If you're a foodie, you can enjoy a San Francisco walking tour featuring Chinese delicacies. You also get a gift card for a Food Tour San Francisco from affoodtour.com.
