Welcome back, guys. So I've got the bottom string over here that's supporting the unit and I've got one cross piece and then I cut it right in the middle of the next space before that other cross piece and then that's going to get shoved into the hole which I'm going to tell you in a minute. All right, I'm just gonna keep the camera running while I try to do this. So what you want to do now is the first thing you want to do is shove all this string material back inside it's easier probably to use tweezers if you need to. So you try to shove this stuff up in the hole and grab it from the top but you see I just did grab both pieces they're in both pieces over there. So that's what you've got now on the bottom because you've got your spring on both sides and you've got your Center string and then you want to try to do this with my mouth and on hand then there are slots on both sides of this plastic you want to slide the string. So that the string on here and the string on here go into those slots. So you can see the final result. So you can see what I did in the slot. The outer springs are going into those little slots on the plastic. Your  Center spring is coming through the bottom and then all you're gonna do is you're gonna tie a knot in a tying knot. What I did is I tied a knot and I took the material that's where mice might not want to be about that plane. So I took the window blinds and slid them up a little bit. So I could put a knot a little higher up over there. So that when the blind comes down if the knot is hidden inside a little hole over here after everything's adjusted and you get pleasers and you get some counters and you shove all of the extra strings. You tell the extra string material back into here or you cut it if it's too long and then you're done.

So that's how you shorten the blinds you're gonna do the same thing for the right side. On the left side, there is no screen in the center. All you're gonna do is you're going to cut it two-and-a-half down and then you're gonna put the plastic thing in there with both outer parts of the ladder inside the plastic slots and you're gonna shove the material up there and push the plastic piece back in and that is how you shorten the mini blinds all right you can see what I'm talking about I put a little knot in here and then I'm going to see exactly where I need to raise this thing to slide this knot up a little bit. So it's hidden in the hole when it drops down. I still have a little bit more adjusting. I need to put the knot a little higher up but that's what you do you want to get but not perfect. So that it fits in the hole and then you get your scissors or your cutters and you cut it just to make sure they're really good cutters this material phrase the minute you cut it and it's very difficult unless you put some wax on there to stop that from happening. Alright here is the second blind just to give you an idea of what I was talking about before this window sill is over. I don't know if I need the slap if I keep this slat and I put the bottom piece below it and that's all I'm gonna need to make this workout. That’s all about today, see you in the next article.
