Things were looking great for the Blues on Saturday night with a 3-1 lead at the end of the first period. The Blues had the Chicago Blackhawks on the ropes and appeared poised to close out the series. But then things turned south.

The Blackhawks took the lead with three second-period goals and added two more in the third for a 6-3 win at the United Center to force Game 7 back in St. Louis on Monday. The defending Stanley Cup champions never panicked after Adrian Phillips Jerseys the Blues scored three straight to close out the first period.
“We realized there was still a lotof time left. We got a little too aggre sive there at the start,” Blackhawks left wing Andrew Ladd told NBC when asked about the early 3-1 deficit. “They got a few chances, but we stuck to our game and knew we'd get our chances.It's easy when you've got a bunch of guys who have been through it before. Nothing really shakes them and there's just confidence throughout that dre sing room.
“We just wanted a chance to play in Game 7 and anything can happen.”
TheBlackhawks outshot St. Louis 19-6 in second period to take a 4-3 lead. Ladd scored the game's first New England Patriots Hats goal and a sisted on Marian Ho sa's empty-netter with 2:20 remaining in the third period. After trailing 3-1 in the series, the Blackhawks have now pushed the Blues to the brink of elimination. Saturday's game was the first of the series not decided by one goal.

Devin Asiasi Jerseys The Penguins secured a 4-1 series victory with the win. Rust added three hits and blocked a shot on defense to help lead the dominant effort.
1. Frederik Andersen, DucksFor the first time in the Western Conference series, the home team won.Andersen was a big reason why. The Ducks goalie made 27 saves in Anaheim's 5-2 win. After dropping the first two games of the series at home, the Ducks have now won three straight to grab the Julian Edelman Hoodies Sweatshirts series lead. After taking over for John Gibson in net, Andersen has started all three of Anaheim's wins.

Patrick Kane's behind-the-net feed to Andrew Shaw was the clincher for the Blackhawks in their win over the Blues.
Sunday's game to watch
Capitals at Flyers, Game 6, noonET, NBC (Washingtonleads 3-2)The Presidents' Trophy winners are having a hard time closing out the Flyers. Washington was rolling while building a 3-0 series lead only to have the Flyers win the last two. The Capitals are 1-9 in their last 10 elimination games and will try to avoid a Game 7 by Mike Vrabel Jerseys ending the series Sunday atWells Fargo Center.
In Sunday's other two games, the Dallas Stars hope to close out the Minnesota Wild with a Game 6 victory while the New York Islanders face the same scenario against the Florida Panthers.
