Star Wars: The Bad Batch

Disney has launched a new animated movie Star Wars: The Bad Batch to celebrate Star Wars Day. It is the second movie of the series. The first movie was The Clone Wars. The story revolves around the squad of clones. They are different from the remaining clone army. Each one of them has a unique skill or power that makes them an extraordinary soldier.

The first episode will be nearly 70 minutes long. New episodes will be launched every Friday from May 7th.

In 1977 George Lucas released Star Wars, which became the highest-grossing film ever. The movie’s success led to the production of two sequels. In 1980 Empire Strikes Back was released, and in 1983 Return of the Jedi was released. Later all three movies were renamed with numbers four, five, and six. These three films are now called the original trilogy.

15 years later, George Lucas released three movies that took place before the original trilogy events. They are known as the prequel trilogy. Star Wars The Phantom Menace Episode 1, was released in 1999, Episode two in 2002, and Episode 3 in 2005.

In 2008 Lucas released an animated movie called Star Wars The Clone Wars. This movie takes place between the Attack of the clones and the Revenge of the sith.

In 2012 Disney brought Lucas property, and they released Star Wars rebels. This was a TV show which takes place between Revenge of the sith and new hope.

Disney had two types of movies plan for Star Wars, classic number movies and stand-alone movies. In 2015 Disney released the first episode of the new sequel trilogy Star Wars The Force Awakens. It takes place after the return of the Jedi.

In 2016 Disney plans to release rouge one. This was the first stand-alone film that takes place right before a new hope.

In 2017 Star Wars episode eight, The Last Jedi, was released. Then in 2018, another stand-alone movie was released about Han Solo. This movie takes place after Star Wars: Revenge of the Sith. In 2019 Star Wars episode 9, The Rise of Skywalker had released.

Disney had planned another film about Boba Fett in 2020, which takes place after episode 1.
