VFX, or “Visual Effects,” are processes that take place in a movie in the post-production stage. The main goal is to make the movie as visually appealing as possible for viewers. Therefore, it comes as no surprise that VFX is used in nearly all movies that are released by Bollywood and Hollywood today.

Subtle VFX work in Bollywood includes adding a backdrop to a scene, adding beauty fixes to celebrity faces, multiplying the number of people in a room, etc. While the major VFX work in movies goes into those scenes that have an action sequence in it. Even the most non-VFX type of movie is bound to have some post-production editing. Through the use of VFX, Bollywood today is attempting to preserve the appearance of classic actors who have been in the field for decades.

To the untrained eye, there might not be any VFX work done on films, but those working in the industry definitely know about the subtle changes that go unnoticed.
