Sun partake a big role to the life on Earth. It's a constant sight that we seldom acknowledged except when it's too hot and we complain about it. Despite all of that, we all agree that the sun is one of the primary reasons why there is life in this planet.

As the center of the Solar System, the Sun accounts for 99.86% of the mass of the Solar system. The gravity is also reason why all of the planets are in order. We all understand how important the Sun is. In fact, people form before use this as a guide for their fortune. Some even believe that the Sun is a deity as it gives light and life to people. However, as time goes by, the understanding of the Sun changed.

Science says that the light of the Sun takes eight minutes before it reach us. Aside form its environment benefits, Sun also help us to do the things we love the most. Can you imagine taking a beautiful scenery without the ray of the sun?

Therefore, it is expected that water will not thrive in these planets as it will quickly turn into steam. On the other hand, Mars is so cold that any living things here on Earth will also die.
A study is also conducted where it show that the sun affects moods. As we all know, during rainy season, days are shorter and the Sun does not appear that much. There are people who are experiencing Seasonal Affective Disorder (SAD), a disorder associated with seasons especially lack of sunlight. The sun also increase the pineal gland. This gland secrets melatonin (hormone that is responsible for a person's sleep patterns).

With the development happening in technology, human learned how to appreciate and maximize the gifts of Mother Nature. One of these gifts is the energy sources we get like water and wind (renewable, natural and sustainable). Not to mention how Sun also proved its importance in this aspect.
Over time, with the help of research, the Sun showed to be a better energy source since its cleaner and needs minimal maintenance compared to fossil fuels. Indeed, the Sun partake an important part to our daily lives.
