Surah Falaq, also known as Surah Al-Falaq, is the 113th chapter (surah) of the Quran, which is the holy book of Islam. It is a relatively short surah consisting of five verses. This surah is often recited by Muslims for protection from evil forces and harmful influences, as it addresses seeking refuge in Allah from various forms of harm and darkness.

Here is the text of Surah Al-Falaq in Arabic:

بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ
قُلْ أَعُوذُ بِرَبِّ الْفَلَقِ
مِن شَرِّ مَا خَلَقَ
وَمِن شَرِّ غَاسِقٍ إِذَا وَقَبَ
وَمِن شَرِّ النَّفَّاثَاتِ فِي الْعُقَدِ
وَمِن شَرِّ حَاسِدٍ إِذَا حَسَدَ

Transliteration:
Bismillahir-Rahmanir-Raheem
Qul a'uudhu birabbil-falaq
Min sharri ma khalaq
Wa min sharri ghasiqin itha waqab
Wa min sharri an-naffathati fil-‘uqad
Wa min sharri hasidin itha hasad

English Translation:
In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.
Say, “I seek refuge in the Lord of daybreak
From the evil of that which He created
And from the evil of darkness when it settles
And from the evil of the blowers in knots
And from the evil of an envier when he envies.”

Surah Al-Falaq is often recited by Muslims as a form of supplication for protection and safety from harm, both physical and spiritual. It is usually recited along with Surah Al-Nas (the next surah) for comprehensive protection against all kinds of evil and negative influences.
