- Launch the ‘Phone’ app and search for the contact you want to call using the Search bar.
- Tap on the name of the person, and you’ll be headed to a contact page.
- Locate the ‘Facetime’ section and tap on the video icon to start a video call.
Note: You may call multiple friends for a group video call.
- After the call starts, locate the ‘Effects’ option at the bottom of the screen and click on it.
- Tap on the ‘Memoji’ icon in the Effects window.
- Scroll through the Memojis and select the one you want to use to replace your head on the call.
The moment you tap on the Memoji character, your face will replace the Memoji. Additionally, the Memoji acts the same way you do; for instance, the way you change your expressions, it does the same. The person you’ve called will hear the original voice; however, the Memoji face will appear on their screen.
