Bentley Motors released the new Bentayga. The new exterior design adopts the Bentley design DNA that is now commonly used throughout the entire model series. The new Bentayga introduces the latest car technology and more spacious interior space.

The key to the new Bentayga is its stunning, dynamic look, which is inspired by the brand's new design language for the third generation Continental GT and the all-new Flying Spur. Together, the three cars form a new family, visually closer than ever before. The bold styling is stunning, and every panel on the front of the car has been redesigned to provide a cleaner, more modern look.

The new smart LED matrix headlight is inspired by cut crystal glassware. The more aggressive front bumper accentuate the car's performance characteristics. Heated wet arm wipers with 22 cleaning nozzles in each arm were introduced for the first time.

At the rear, the new Bentley Bentayga has been redesigned, with the number plate moved down to the bumper to give a cleaner look. Wide split type exhaust pipe is undoubtedly a powerful car. The rear wheel base was increased by 20mm and the wheels were repositioned in the arch to improve the car's posture. The wheel itself is a new design unique to Bentayga. The main interior changes are a new central dashboard and steering wheel, while rear passengers also enjoy more room, with up to 100mm extra legroom, depending on configuration.

The next-generation infotainment system has been seamlessly integrated into the handcrafted Bentley “Wing” dashboard design, which features a 10.9-inch display. The new digital display includes ultra-high resolution and motion graphics that can be configured to suit the driver's preferences.

The latest online search and other features bring new navigation. Wireless Apple CarPlay becomes standard for the first time, along with existing wired systems and Android Auto. Backseat passengers benefit from a new larger touchscreen and remote-controlled tablet.

Bentley's first use of dark diamond brushed aluminium trim on dark flooring, and Bentayga's new addition of two straight-grained veneers, Koa and Crown Cut Walnut, can further enhance the luxurious interior.

The new model will initially be launched under the name Bentayga V8, offering a balance between supercar performance and everyday use, with plug-in hybrid and W12-powered Speed versions introduced this year. The V8's 4.0-liter twin-turbo gasoline engine produces an impressive 542 BHP (550 PS) and 568 lb.ft (770 Nm) of torque.

The new oval headlights made their debut at Bentley. They feature the brand's signature cut crystal design, which sparkles even when it's not on.

The eye-catching new 22-inch hub design is available in two finishes, expanding the number of available hub designs to five – all unique to Bentley. By adjusting the lateral position of the wheels in the arch, the dynamic attitude of the car can be improved by reducing the horizontal space between the wheel surface and the edge of the arch at all four corners.

Perhaps the most eye-catching design change has been retained at the rear of the car, where the new Bentayga is completely different from its predecessor. In line with the Continental GT, it features oval taillights for the first time. The lattice pattern has a unique jewel-like appearance when illuminated and has a deep, three-dimensional glow effect. Lights also provide an animated “welcome” feature with a sweep direction indicator.

Two new colours have also been added to Bentayga's palette -Viridian, a dark metallic green based on EXP 10 Speed 6 concept car colours, and Patina- a mid-tone grey white with an emphasis on luxury.

The new central dashboard, equipped with the latest generation of infotainment systems, enhances the visual appeal and utility of the first class Bentley Bentayga, and is located within the famed Bentley' Wings' design spirit throughout the dashboard.

The central pair of traditional “Bullseye” central vents have been replaced by a single vent carved into a flowing chrome bezel that sits above the main infotainment screen and incorporates the Breitling clock into its form. A long pocket on the side of the center console accommodates smaller items, such as a mobile phone, while a wireless sensor phone charger with a signal enhancer is located directly in front of the gear lever.

The new Bentayga offers three multifunctional seating configurations. In addition to the standard five-seater, the optional four-seater layout features two separate rear seats separated by a center console. Seven seats in three rows offer extreme practicality and flexibility.

The five-seater Bentayga benefits from an entirely new seat frame that doubles the distance of the rear-seat reclining Angle. All seats are now more sculpted, especially in the shoulder area. Bentley Bentayga is also offering for the first time mini tubes for seats. The five-seater configuration now also has a backseat ventilation option, previously available only in four cabins.

With a new seam design, the Mulliner Driving Specification allows customers to choose from eight sustainable veneers, including Bentayga's new two straight-grain options -Koa and Crown Cut Walnut.

The new Bentayga is powered by Bentley's proven 4.0-liter 32-valve twin-scroll turbocharged V8 gasoline engine, which combines great power with impressive fuel economy. Used in conjunction with an eight-speed automatic transmission, the V8 delivers supercar performance, generating 542 BHP (550 PS) and 568 lb.ft (770 Nm) of torque, with a top speed of 180 MPH (290 km/h) and 0 to -60 MPH in 4.4 s (100 km/h in 4.5 s).

The leading performance of the new Bentayga V8 is coupled with a range of 397 miles (639 km) and a carbon dioxide emission of 302 g/km. This high efficiency (21.2 MPG / 13.3 l / 100 km combined) is due in part to the engine's ability to deactivate four of its eight cylinders under the right conditions without damaging the drive.

Bentley Dynamic Ride — the world's first electric active roll control technology — is further enhanced with the new Bentayga, adding 20 mm of track at the rear, which reduces steering force and improves response linearity. Bentley Dynamic Ride instantly counteracts the side roll force in a turn and ensures maximum tire contact, thus providing first-class cab stability, comfort and handling.

The new Bentayga offers the widest range of off-road Drive Settings of any SUV through Bentley's Drive Dynamics mode and optional All-Terrain specs. Up to eight modes – four on-road and four off-road – are available, allowing the driver to choose the ideal dynamic Settings for any ground or road condition while flipping the wheel.

The new Bentayga will be offered as a high-efficiency hybrid, the luxury world's first true plug-in hybrid. Thanks to the previous generation, the hybrid will be Bentley's most efficient car ever and the company's first step towards electrification.
