The new generation of MAX has arrived. Yamaha Motor Philippines, Inc. offers the new NMAX that made headlines this year. Same as the XMAX 2021 series, the NMAX team enjoys good popularity. The official launch of the new product was the first ever augmented event that took place in the Yamaha Rev Stadium, the virtual space where customers can enjoy Yamaha's special digital presentation. The new NMAX is powered by a refined 155cc, 4-stroke liquid-cooled SOHC, single-cylinder, 4-valve injection engine with CVT and VVA. Bore and stroke provide excellent power and torque characteristics. A new cylinder head and compact combustion chamber provide a higher compression ratio which increases combustion efficiency. It also optimizes the coolant path to improve reliability.
Carrying the MAX DNA, this model features additional features that make it the best partner for any rider with a combination of luxurious style and sporty performance. The NMAX adopts 6-bulb LED headlight design. Four lights on the top row are for the low beam, the two lights below for the high beam. The stylish taillight shows the DNA of the MAX series with a unique three-dimensional design. The smart key system, when detected, allows the driver to start the car via the button on the main switch without having to insert the key. It features a multi-function all-digital speedometer for larger, easier-to-read LCD instruments that include bar fuel gauge, speedometer, clock and fuel economy data. For added convenience, a 12V power socket is located in the left storage pocket for charging digital devices. While the right storage pocket is equipped with a waterproof cover and can accommodate a large 7-8 inch smartphone or tablet.
In addition to the new features, the new NMAX has improved features. It features standard ABS to give you more controllable stopping power with a 230mm front and rear disc for smooth braking. The handlebar switch control has a convenient toggle switch that allows the operator to scroll through the displayed data. The Maxi seat design with a two-tier seat offers comfort and plenty of space for rider and passenger.
The large multifunctional luggage is enough to accommodate an XL full-face helmet with a capacity of 23.3 liters. The hinge that opens and closes the seat is equipped with two springs so that after unlocking with an easy-to-access button, the seat opens slowly and naturally. The 7.1-liter fuel tank is conveniently located within the center tunnel and can be opened at the push of a button with refueling without the need to open the seat. Also includes the smart engine generator. It also acts as a starter, eliminating the need for a separate conventional starter. This allows for silent starts and restarts of the engine; and has a lighter and more compact design.
The all-new NMAX is designed to deliver the satisfaction of unmatched mobility. It is available in ABS version with three color variants: Tech Camo, Matte Red and Midnight Black.
